At my school, we go on a field trip every year. This year we were to go to 3 different places in Laguna, Philippines. All the buses left campus around 5AM. The weather was a bit dull on that day though as it did rain quite a few times.

For safety, we all had a field trip buddy. My partner was Harman! She was an awesome partner too since she didn't fall asleep the whole trip and I would have been so bored.

As we got off the bus, we went into this beautiful park that had colorful life-size figurines. It had slides, benches and a lot of other fun attractions. A lot of tourists come here to take photos and to just enjoy themselves. This is a great place for selfies. Imagine how cool it would be to have a selfie with those superheroes.

In the park there is a path going to the beautiful Sta. Maria Magdalena Church.

The structure was very old, it was built during the time of the Spaniards.

After praying, I looked up and saw this amazing ceiling. It looks simple but very eye-catching.

I also heard that this Church was a favorite when it comes to filming movies that have scenes at a Church.

The first place we went to was the St. John The Baptist Church. This was another beautiful and old Church that was built during the time of the Spaniards. They say the altar floor was considered a step closer to heaven and so only the highest of high were allowed to step on it. The highest of the social classes would sit at the front while the lowest would even just stand outside. I liked this Church better than the first one because of the amazing statues infront of it. It was just so so beautiful and I would love to visit again.

The second place we visited in Liliw was a house. In Laguna, people are very fond of having their own businesses right in their homes. This particular family's business was Liliw's specialty candy. We went inside their production room which was right beside the store itself.

Liliw is also known as the Sandal Capital of the Philippines. Shoes and sandals from brands like Parisian by SM and other brands have their products made at this very place. So, if you are a shoe or sandal addict you better go on and buy as much as you can here since it's not yet branded meaning it's a lot cheaper.

MAJAYJAY

The last destination was Majayjay Falls. Our bus couldn't fit onto the road going there so we all took a jeepney trip. Once we reached the point, there were rooms for each class so that we could leave our bag of clothes and other things. Each room had one bathroom and there was 2 other bathrooms that require you to pay PHP5. It was quite a long walk to the Falls but it's not that tiring. The water was very cold.. well, at least for everyone else it was. I actually enjoyed the cold water. It was also very clear and it had a lot of rocks which made it a bit difficult to step on. The tour guides created a boundary line so that we wouldn't go into the deep part of the Falls to keep everyone safe.

Since there were only a few bathrooms I was second to the last to finish dressing up. The jeepneys were all full and so I sat on the edge of the back with one of the tour guides. It was a perfect time to take a video of the beautiful view but it was quite difficult as the road was bumpy and it went up and down. Luckily, the tour guide was helping me out as I was filming and I didn't fall off. The view was absolutely beautiful and i'm glad I got a shot of everything.

The people who took us there and kept us safe were from Lakbay. This was definitely a great day and experience. I'd love to visit once again since this is not something we usually see nor experience in Metro Manila. On the ride back home, everyone was singing karaoke on the bus and we got to the campus at around 8PM or 9PM.

CHECK OUT MY VLOG ON THIS TOO
