WHO AM I EXACTLY?
I am a teenage fashion, beauty & lifestyle blogger from Metro Manila, Philippines. I am also a content creator on YouTube and is currently in a contract partnership with Boom Video. I have sold designs to Kultura Filipino and to other clients who have personally contacted or hired me to do so.
I love coming up with new ideas and just being totally creative. I am also into film as to why I have started a YouTube channel. Hopefully, my love for creating projects, events & ideas will lead me to what I want to do with my life and on who I want to be in this world.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
A lot of people seem to think that I am from America but I am actually from the Philippines. I live in Metro Manila and I have a mixture of Filipino and Spanish blood.
WHY, WHEN & HOW DID YOU START UPLOADING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE?
Around 2009, I was introduced to YouTube by friends and family. I was really into watching funny videos like "The Annoying Orange" and other videos from people like Ryan Higa. In 2011, I started watching a lot of beauty and fashion videos. Everyday after school, I would go on my laptop and just watch videos until I fell asleep. After awhile, I thought "Hey, I like makeup and fashion. Why don't I upload videos?" It seemed really cool yet terrifying to do. It took me a couple of years before I actually did upload but when 2014 came I finally told myself that it's now or never. I then uploaded a channel trailer and filmed my trip to Cebu during the summer. I tried conceptualizing what I wanted my content to be like and what they would be about but I just really wanted to do a mixture of travel vlogs, tutorials, DIY's, challenges and more. 2 days after my birthday, I got an email from Boom Video, an Australian Company that partners up with Bloggers and YouTubers. They worked with Troye Sivan, who is now an YouTube Sensation. I was so so honored and ended up signing the contract 2 months later. Boom is turning out to be such a big help in my videos and in connecting with other fellow YouTubers and Bloggers here in the Philippines. I guess the "how" part in me starting to upload videos is that I just told myself to be brave and to stop waiting because life is short and we gotta make the most out of it.
